I have stayed at unit 226 many times now. I can’t say I enjoy any place more than this studio on the beach. When I stay here I am instantly transported to an island feel. I wake up every morning to a spectacular view of the ocean and pristine white sand beach. I walk out the back of the unit to sit on the lawn chase loungers and drink my coffee with the sunrise. The full kitchen and spacious dining table allows me and my daughter to have breakfast indoors and sometimes we venture to the backyard to the picnic table with its palm leaf covered umbrella. All these details put me into the island mood. Instant relaxation. The vibe in the unit is full of green palms and modern ocean art. The green velvet queen bed is comfortable and looks right out onto the ocean making you feel like you are sleeping on the beach. At sunset I sometimes walk out barefoot for a walk on the beach , other times I watch my kids playing in the pool while watching the sun gloriously setting in that Longboat Key way that seems miraculous every time. Sometimes I sit on the comfy couch or the swivel reading chairs in the unit and read a book and watch the sunset through the huge window. Because the unit is level with the sand, I have a perfect view of these famous sunsets. I pop open the window every night to hear the waves, smell the sea and the screen protects me from the no-see-ums. I love all the art and comforts in the unit. The huge closet offers a large set of drawers and tons of hanging space and keeps all that out of site ! Which I love! I come here twice a year and look forward to it every time. I travel all year throughout the world and I can’t say I’m ever as relaxed and comfortable as I am here. The staff here is always so helpful and attentive , but never intrusive. It feels like a home away from home.
